RAM works in an open-office environment. That arrangement makes it easy to discuss a question, ask for another perspective and work through an engineering problem together.
Technical conversations are part of everyday work. People can hear how other projects are being approached, contribute experience from their own work and learn through those discussions. Learning happens through working together rather than simply being assigned work and left on your own.

The work employees may encounter depends on current projects and their role, but RAM’s project mix can provide exposure to different types of buildings and engineering problems.
ENGINEERING & DESIGN
Work may involve structural engineering, civil and site engineering, building design or coordination between these areas.
BUILDINGS & PROPERTIES
Projects may include homes, commercial and industrial buildings, new construction, additions, renovations and existing-building assessments.
PROJECT STAGES
Depending on the scope, work may extend from early investigation and design through permitting questions and construction-related engineering.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
Learn by being involved in the work.
Working at RAM provides opportunities to see how projects develop, participate in technical discussions and understand how engineering decisions are made.
- Work directly with engineers, designers and other team members.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
RAM’s regular work schedule.
These are RAM’s normal year-round office hours, so employees normally have Friday afternoons off throughout the year.
- Monday–Thursday8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Friday8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
